The Ranger Zone is looking for new, experienced writers that are knowledgeable about the Rangers or about the National Hockey League and are willing to dedicate a few hours a week to writing opinion articles, game previews and recaps and anything else that is approved.

I posted on my Facebook and Twitter yesterday explaining my current situation, but in case you don’t follow me there, I’ll explain it again here.

Recently, I started my junior year of college at Seton Hall University. With my current schedule, and the courses I am taking, it’s harder for me to fit writing daily articles into my day. I can’t get up and write an article at 8 a.m. anymore because I have classes. And by the time I’m done with classes, I have to fit homework, going to the gym, eating and working into my schedule. So needless to say, it’s been a little more challenging.

That’s why I am reaching out for writers. I am looking for people who have some experience with writing in the journalistic style, as well as people who are knowledgeable about the Rangers and/or the NHL in general.

The only thing you would need to do is write. I will take care of posting and formatting the articles. While I would ask for some game previews and recaps, you would also be free to send in columns or opinion articles too. The bigger the variety of content, the better.

So if you know hockey, and if you know the New York Rangers, and you want to write about it, please email me at therangerzoneblog@gmail.com, or just click on the contact me tab at the top of the page.

When sending the email, please be sure to put TRZ Writer in the subject line, and send a minimum of two writing samples that I can read. They must be articles or something similar to that, not essays.

If you have any questions, just leave comments here, on Facebook, or tweet me @The_RangerZone.
