Derick Brassard overtime winner 11-5

After four straight days without a game, the Rangers (11-9-4) will travel to Detroit (15-6-5) to take on the Red Wings for the second time this season.

The Rangers struggled at times on Monday, losing by a final score of 6-3. Henrik Lundqvist allowed five goals on the first 17 shots that he faced, and the Rangers also struggled defensively.

However, Cam Talbot will get the start on Saturday. Talbot has fond memories of Detroit, when he won his first career NHL game there on October 26, 2013, making 32 saves on 34 shots. Derick Brassard would win the game in overtime for the Rangers. Read the rest of this entry
