Rangers rout the Sabres with three power play goals in the first period

The Rangers (21-11-4) dominated the Buffalo Sabres (14-23-3) at home on Saturday, cruising to a 6victory. The Sabres played exactly like a team that had played the night before, which they did, and the Rangers were able to take advantage of this, giving them 10 wins in their last 11 games played.
For the second straight game, no player had more than one goal, with six different Rangers finding the back of the net for New York. Thirteen different Rangers recorded at least one point in Saturday’s contest. Read the rest of this entry
Rangers look to keep winning ways against the Sabres at home

The Rangers (20-11-4) have won nine of their last 10 games, and are hoping to continue to pick up another win against the struggling Buffalo Sabres (14-22-3) at Madison Square Garden.
The Sabres will be playing their second game in as many days, and were shut out by the Florida Panthers 2-0 on Friday night. The Sabres are now 1-6-1 in their last eight games.
While this is largely a rebuild year for the Sabres, they had been playing solid hockey for a while before hitting their recent eight game skid. Buffalo has also had some standout young players. Read the rest of this entry
