Rangers set to take on Penguins on the road; Stepan and Kreider red-hot

Following their win in Columbus, the Rangers (25-13-4) will finish their road trip against their division rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins (26-11-6), who sit just four points ahead of the Rangers in the Metropolitan Division standings.
The Penguins are coming off of a crushing loss to the New York Islanders, giving up a 3-2 lead with four Islanders goals in the third period. Marc-Andre Fleury gave up five goals on 34 shots, and All-Star Sidney Crosby finished the game with two goals and an assist, giving him 50 points (14-36-50) on the season. Rangers look to rebound in Columbus; Stepan return possible

Following a shutout at the hands of the Bruins, the Rangers (24-13-4) will be looking to snap their brief skid when they head to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets (18-20-3), a team that has struggled with injuries throughout the majority of the season.
The Rangers have lost their last two games via the shutout, unable to get the lucky bounces and hitting the post numerous times in both games. The Blueshirts will look to take advantage of a struggling Columbus team that has lost their last three games. Read the rest of this entry
Rangers faceoff against surging Boston Bruins; Stepan likely out

The Rangers (24-12-4) will begin another tough road trip tonight, when they face off against the Boston Bruins, who have won their last four games. Following tonight’s game, the Rangers will head to Columbus for a clash with the Blue Jackets, and then head off to Pittsburgh for a matchup against the Penguins.
The Rangers and Bruins are both tied with 52 points, but New York has four games in hand, with both teams holding on to one of the wild card spots. Read the rest of this entry

After sweeping their California road trip and winning 13 of their last 14 games, the Rangers (24-11-4) will take on the division rival Islanders (28-13-1) at Madison Square Garden.
The Rangers enter tonight’s contest with 52 points and in a Wild Card spot. The Islanders are five points ahead of the rangers and in first place, but have played three more games than the Blueshirts, making tonight’s game much more important than just a rivalry game. Read the rest of this entry

After a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, the Rangers (23-11-4) will finish off their California road trip tonight against the San Jose Sharks (22-15-5).
The Rangers have won four consecutive games and 12 of their last 13 games, but finishing off a sweep against Anaheim, Los Angeles, and San Jose would be a truly impressive feat.
Following Thursday’s victory, the Rangers also have a strong 10-6-1 record away from Madison Square Garden, winning their last three games on the road, and seven of their last eight. Read the rest of this entry
